Energy webchat with John Hutton

John HuttonJohn Hutton, Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, will be in 10 Downing Street for a live webchat on 28 January at 13.30 GMT.

The minister will be answering questions on the Energy Bill as it reaches the second reading stage in the House of Commons. The Bill contains new proposals for energy production, including the recent decision to go-ahead with a new generation of nuclear power plants.

As minister for consumer issues, you could also ask John about recent energy prices rises and the current “credit crunch”. Or you may like to focus on entrepreneurial skills and business capability.

John’s webchat takes place after the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and he would also like to take questions on the world economy and our trade with the developing economies of China and India.
