Ministerial appointments and full list of Government

The Queen is pleased to approve the following Ministerial appointments.

The Queen has also been pleased to approve that Liam Byrne MP, John Healey MP, Jim Knight MP, David Lammy MP, Pat McFadden MP, Anne McGuire MP, Malcolm Wicks MP and Michael Wills MP be sworn of Her Majesty’s most honourable Privy Council.

The Queen has been pleased to signify Her intention of conferring peerages of the United Kingdom for Life on Stephen Carter CBE and Paul Myners CBE.
