The Queen is pleased to approve the appointment of Mervyn Davies CBE as a Minister of State* (jointly with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office).
The Queen has also been pleased to signify Her intention of conferring a peerage of the United Kingdom for Life on Mervyn Davies.
