British Museum Trustees (Hasan Askari)

The Prime Minister has reappointed Hasan Askari as a Trustee of the British Museum. The appointment will be for a period of two years from 16 September 2004.

Biographical Notes

Hasan Askari is Chief Executive of Old Mutual Financial Services (UK) plc, and a Trustee of the Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Trust. He is a member of the Royal Society for Asian Affairs and a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society and has, in the past, been a Trustee of the Isle of Dogs Community Foundation. Hasan Askari was first appointed to the Board by the Prime Minister in September 1999 for a period of five years.
