Facing questions

Tony Blair Monday was the time for the PM’s April press conference, which this month had a NHS focus. During the hour-long session, Tony Blair was also asked questions about the Middle East peace process and Al-Qaida.

At PMQs later in the week there were questions about crime, Iraq and the health service. Mr Blair also spoke about agriculture, Northern Ireland and anti-social behaviour. Don’t forget you can watch PMQs on this website every Wednesday at Noon.

Keeping fit and healthy

Tony Blair at PMQs 26 April 2006 The PM helped launch the Small Change BIG DIFFERENCE campaign, which shows how getting off the bus a stop earlier or eating an extra piece of fruit a day could add years to your life.

Also this week he offered his thoughts on the explosions in Egypt which occurred on Monday, gave a television interview on Northern Ireland and hosted a reception for teachers and students involved in further education.
