“We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to legislate, on the grounds of health and safety and in line with the laws already in place in Scotland and Northern Ireland, for a maximum class of 20 at KS3 and 18 at KS4 to ensure the safe and effective teaching of design and technology in secondary schools in England and Wales.”
Her Majesty The Queen has approved the appointment of Hamish Macleod of Dumfries as a non-executive Forestry Commissioner for Scotland and the re-appointment of Dr Olutayo Adebowale, both appointments are for a term of three years from 1 April 2009.
