PM meets King Abdullah II of Jordan

Prime Minister David Cameron met King Abdullah II Bin al-Hussein earlier today.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Mr Cameron and King Abdullah of Jordan spoke about a number of matters relating to Jordan and the Middle East.

A Downing Street Spokesman said:

The Prime Minister met His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin al-Hussein of Jordan at Downing Street earlier this morning. 

The Prime Minister and King Abdullah reaffirmed the important bilateral relationship, with Jordan the UK’s strongest partner in the region. They discussed the latest situation in the Middle East, in particular the Middle East Peace Process and Iran.
