PM appears at Liaison Committee

The Prime Minister appeared before the Liaison Committee for the first time today to answer questions from MPs about government policy

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Topics such as the Spending Review, creating a low-carbon economy and Afghanistan were on the agenda during the two-and-a-half-hour session.

Prime Ministers appear before the committee twice a year to answer questions on a range of domestic and international issues. The Committee is made up of 33 Chairs of Select Committees.
