Ministerial appointments - House of Lords

Details of recent ministerial appointments have been announced.

The Queen has been pleased to approve the following appointments:

• Lord Henley, currently  Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, to become a Minister of State at the Home Office
• Lord Taylor of Holbeach CBE, currently a Lord in Waiting, to become Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
• Baroness Stowell of Beeston to become a Baroness in Waiting

Baroness Browning is stepping down from the Government on health grounds.
