Sir Howard Newby re-appointed to the National Museum for Science and Industry
The Prime Minister has re-appointed Sir Howard Newby as a Trustee of the National Museum of Science and Industry. His term of appointment runs from 13 January 2011 to 12 January 2015.
Biographical Details:
Sir Howard Newby, KB, CBE, BA, PhD, AcSS, is Vice -Chancellor of the University of Liverpool.
He has a lifelong interest in railway history and is currently Deputy Chairman of the Railway Heritage Committee and chairs the Board of the National Railway Museum. He is also a Trustee of the National Museum of Science and a Governor of the British Film Institute as well as a Trustee of the National Football Museum.
