“The Duke of Edinburgh and I look forward to our visit to Canada in June and our visit to the United Nations in New York in July.”

Her Majesty, visiting as Queen of Canada, will be accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh.  The visit will take place from 28 June to 6 July and will include stops in Nova Scotia, Ontario and Manitoba, and in the national capital region, on Canada Day (1 July).

The visit programme will be coordinated by the Canadian secretary to the Queen and a detailed itinerary will be published at a later date.

From Canada, the Queen will fly to New York on 6 July for a short visit centred on the United Nations. Her Majesty will address the UN General Assembly.

The Queen last addressed the UN General Assembly in 1957.  On this occasion she will be doing so as Queen of the 16 realms.
