Traffic for August 2010
During the first half of August, Prime Minister David Cameron’s activities included meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan and Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen. Mr Cameron also took part in commemorations of the 65th anniversary of VJ Day and travelled around the country to talk to people about the issues that are important to them in PM Direct sessions in Birmingham, Brighton and Manchester.
Later in the month, Mr Cameron and his wife Samantha welcomed a new addition to their family during a holiday in Cornwall. During the PM’s absence, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg was holding the fort and took part in an online Q&A hosted by MSN, welcomed FIFA inspectors to Number 10 and visited Afghanistan.
