All aboard for a Prime Ministerial visit

18 January 2007

Tony Blair arrives at HMS Albion, 12 January 2007 "The secret to success is in the detail" confides Commanding Officer Tim Lowe in our new film, as he prepares for a visit by the Prime Minister.

In the latest behind-the-scenes movie from Number 10, our cameras followed the preparations for the PM's Our Nation's Future defence lecture on-board HMS Albion in Plymouth.

We see the setting-up of the spectacular lecture space - "the most unique venue the PM has ever given a speech at," according to a member of the Downing Street team.

Then there's the meticulous preparation of HMS Albion, through to the arrival of the PM's helicopter onboard the ship, and his delivery of the lecture and his meeting members of the crew.

There will be more films in the series released during the coming months.
