Education
This is the place to find all the latest news on the government’s work to improve Britain’s schools, with exclusive content including films and features.
A new White Paper on education has now been launched. Tony Blair called it a ‘pivotal moment’, saying that schools in Britain were making good progress but that the time has come to ‘lift our ambitions’.
On this page you will find a host of links and resources with everything you need to know about the UK’s schools, teachers and pupils.
White Paper on education
In October 2005 the government launched its new education White Paper, entitled ‘Higher Standards, Better Schools For All’.
